Media Luna is a small community of 145 families located about 7km outside of Urubamba. It is nestled in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, an hour and a half drive from Cusco. It is surrounded by several important historical and archeological sites in Peru, such as Machu Picchu, Ollantaytambo, Pisac, Moray and Maras.
The circuit includes a variety of activities and workshops designed with the intention of promoting local customs and traditions. Each one of these workshops and activities is organized and presented by one of the members of the rural tourism association.
