You will have the option of taking part in a hike led by Tiburcio to the pre-Inca ruins known as “Las Chullpas”, where you will see the large stone towers made many centuries ago that are only known to locals of the community. “Las Chullpas” was a place where people would store food reserves such as corn, potatoes and other products traditionally grown in the valley. From the site, located high up on the side of one of the mountains of the valley, you will be able to enjoy one of the many fantastic views of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. You’ll have the chance to take some incredible photos of this place, and leave with a fond memory of your journey to this part of Peru.
Guided hike to the 8 storehouses, “Las Chullpas”, with local guide and elder, Don Tiburcio.
